After further review
It got icy here in Portland, OR and I got to get a bunch more places to test my ULTRA TREKKER KAKO ICE CLEATS!
They really are the most comfortable cleats found so far, I almost forgot and walked back into the house. They surely would scratch the floors and make me test them in the dog house all night!!
They held best when you were pushing straight down and holding your footing. This is really important if you are going to be carrying something of need to push off or lift on the ice.
They did slide if you were trying to do a SLIDE TEST, it looked like Cat Claw marks on the ice since they were trying to grip, remember it is Ice!
They are now carrying these at Next Adventure and Andy and Bax in Portland, heard they sold out when the ice hit.
Overall these will last many years and compared to the Yak Trax they will hold up and get you across the ice and snow.
However always remember the word help.... the ice always wins if you are trying to do stuff you would do on normal ground...
